What happens with a come bet if I have already placed the eight and the shooter throws an eight?

Hi Arnold:

The Come bet goes to the 8 and you have the choice of taking your Place bet down or using some or most of it on the Odds portion of your Come bet. Or you can leave it up and have two bets on the 8 - the Place bet and the Come bet (with Odds). Your choice.
