Table Maximum at the Roulette Table

27 December 2007

By Frank Scoblete

Dear Frank:

If a roulette table has a $500 maximum for inside bets, does this mean on one number or spread around? For example can I play $20 on 25 numbers?

Thanks,
Jeff

Dear Jeff:

Casinos all have their own rules but it is in the casinos' interests to allow you to bet that $500 on as many numbers as you wish since the casino cut on roulette is 5.26 percent. Make 20 of those $500 bets and your expectation is to lose $526 per spin.

I think most casinos would allow you to do this. They would be crazy not to.

However, your second question is a definite. All the casinos will allow you to bet $20 on 25 numbers since that is the house maximum of $500.

For your question, I am giving you a free one-month subscription to my private web site at www.goldentouchcraps.com. This private web site has 5,000 members and the conversations are great.

All the best in and out of the casinos!
