Scobe's Quick Tips: #95 and #96: Money Management and Comps

16 August 2004

By Frank Scoblete

Scobe's Quick Tip #95

Money management can't make you win at casino games but it can take the edge off big losses.

Divide your gaming stake into session stakes. If you have $1,200 to play with and you want to stay two days at the casino, then give yourself $600 each day. If you want to play three times in a day, then play with $200 for each of those sessions.

For more on money management read Guerrilla Gambling by Frank Scoblete and Thrifty Gambling by John Brokopp.

Scobe's Quick Tip #95

Getting comps from the casinos is great -- as long as you don't play more than you usually would just to get those comps.

Just play your normal game your normal way and the comps will come. Then they are truly "free" as you would have played the way you played anyway!

For more on comps, read Guerrilla Gambling by Frank Scoblete and Thrifty Gambling by John Brokopp.
