Scobe's Quick Tip #43 If you have never played craps before and you want to get right into the game, go up to a table, and plunk down $12 and say: "Six and eight for six dollars each." Now, you will root for the 6 or 8 to appear before the 7. And you're in the game. You'll get paid $7 if the 6 or 8 hits, but you'll lose both bets if the 7 hits. Scobe's Quick Tip #44 The simplest way to play Let It Ride is the safest way as well: Never let a bet ride that is not a pair of 10s or better, or is not an open-ended straight flush in the making. Even with this strategy, you will experience long streaks of constantly taking your #1 and # 2 bets back because you can't let anything ride. Get used to it.
