Scobe's Quick Tips: #24 and #25 (Buying in at a Table Game, Take Advantage of Casino Promotions)

Scobe's Quick Tip #24
When buying in at a table game such as blackjack or craps, never hand
your money directly to the dealer.
Dealers are not allowed to take anything from your hands. Place your
money on the layout and the dealer will exchange it for chips. The only
time you can hand something directly to a dealer is if a die goes off
the craps table and you retrieve it.

Scobe's Quick Tip #25
If you are a regular in a casino, take advantage of all the
promotions and giveaways.
Often the items you don't particularly want will be of interest to
members of your family and, in a pinch, some would make good gifts for
birthdays and holidays!
