Scobe's Quick Tip #12:
Blackjack basic strategy often calls for plays that don't seem right but
are right.
Here are some:
-
Double down on your Ace-7 against a dealer's 3, 4, 5, 6.
-
Split your 9s against a dealer's 8 and 9 but not against a dealer's 7.
-
Double Ace-8 against a dealer's 6 in single-deck blackjack.
You might not agree with these decisions but -- make them anyway because
the computer says to!

Scobe's Quick Tip #13:
Spread your play around.
You should have at least three casinos that have you as a rated player.
Why is that? Because casinos change their policies and personnel and
sometimes these changes might not be to your liking.
If you have several casinos you enjoy, you'll never have to worry that
the upcoming changes will ruin your gambling experience.
