Odd is best: A gambler's "new" math

9 April 2012

I have a private, members-only website at www.goldentouchcraps.com with over 5,000 members. Some of these players are terrific gamblers, others are true advantage players at games such as blackjack, craps and even advantage-play slots, and most of the members play more than one game. The majority of the members are literate; they read books (and this website!) and understand the nature of how the casinos structure their games to get an edge.

However, some of the members are traditional gamblers who tend to believe concepts that are not true but seem true and have been touted as true by a host of gambling gurus both in print and on the Internet. In short, traditional gamblers believe a whole host of wrong notions proposed by a whole host of ploppies.

One of the posters on my website (Terry Kelly) wrote the following analysis of how he bets at the game of craps. This poster even calls himself a "traditional gambler" and states in his personal description that he is "open minded." With his permission, I am excerpting a recent post he made on the private website. This post delineates his "advanced" concept of gambling math and how to use it to beat the casinos at craps in a random game. The grammar and spelling are his.

Let us take a look at the math of the game of craps in a really, really unique way which will put aside all the normal ways of looking at the game too. I have been thinking about this long and hard and I can show so clearly that certain trend betting concepts works better than other kinds of trends betting based on the existence of certain numbers in terms of odd or even numbers.

If you do odd and even and you go 1 threw 9 you discover that these essential numbers are known as primate numbers. There are five odd primary numbers 1-3-5-7-9 and four even numbers 2-4-6-8. Anyone getting a clue yet as to which type of numbers will come up more than which other kind types of numbers will come up if we dealt with the real world of existence and not the fake world of math that the gambling writers like Frank and Skinny portend? It is uncontestable the odd numbers will come up more. Look at the box numbers at the top of the craps layout and you see three even numbers 4-6-8 but we don't count the ten which I wouldn't count because now you have added an extra number to the primary numbers as you can plainly see that a zero doesn't count for anything and that is why it is a zero. But on the box numbers you only got two odd numbers so why does the casino do this? Because the real mathematicians are aware that the odd numbers have more of them and will come up more often so they slant the game to favor those even numbers coming up otherwise we would all be odd numbers and destroy the house big time!!!!

Go back to the original idea here if you are a slow grasper. Those odd numbers should hit more because in real life there are more odd numbers in the primary positions which are 1 threw 9 than even numbers.

So only using the primary numbers the only bets worth making to take advantage of the majority of odd numbers in real math as opposed to the fake math many gambling writers on this bored foolishly use is to go with the odd numbers 3-5-7-9 as the only numbers you should bet on. These give you the best chance to win over the 2-4-6-8 which while even in this example are not even in the real world of primary numbers. You have to bet the real world and this is what I have been trying to explain for months on this bored. The real world in hinges on the world of gambling to give us a clue as to what to do.

So the only way to bet and my newest system based on long thought and analysis is to bet the odd numbers only. You might not want to bet all the odd numbers at once but bet the 3-5-9 all the time even though the 7 can also come up more than I would like. You do not bet any double numbers which means numbers made up of two numbers like 10-11-12 and so on. These are not real numbers but combined digits which have little meaning in the nature of the world.

I think I have shown clearly what it is all about and how to overcome the so called random game of craps with a unique betting system that takes into count the real world of numbers and the real world of math.

Has this individual actually discovered something new in terms of betting that can beat a random game? Is his betting system of just betting the odd numbers something worthy of trying? Obviously there is nothing new under the sun, as the bible says, and our "traditional gambler" has gone off the deep end to try to come up with something that can overcome randomness. While a laudable attempt that joins hundreds of other losing laudable attempts, there is no way to bet your away out of the random nature of the results. With that said, if you try this "odd" betting system, you face the same house edges everyone else does on these numbers.
