Dear Frank:
I just learned how to play craps and think I will really like it but, I'm a little intimidated with the crowds at a real craps table. (Ooops, I forgot to tell you I learned the game via software). My husband and I usually visit the casinos in Tunica, Mississippi at least four times a year with a goal to learn how to play a new game every time. So, my question is this, is there a video craps game (like video poker) available anywhere or is that a silly idea?
Thanks,
"The Lady at the Craps Table"
My Lady:
The Wizard of Odds has a nice simple craps game on his website at http://wizardofodds.com/play/craps/. I caution you to only make the best bets so most of the bets on the table are not even worth thinking about. Bet pass and come; or don't pass and don't come, taking as much in odds as you can afford. Practice online and when you go to an actual table let the dealers know you are novices. They'll be happy to help you. Just don't let anyone convince you to make bad bets.
All the best in and out of the casinos!
