One would think so. If you play full coin in most one-dollar machines, you are usually putting in three dollars per spin. The 25-cent machine would see you putting in 75 cents.

Now there is a difference in payouts on these machines as the dollar machines usually pay back more than quarter machines. However, this is very low compared to how much a dollar player actually loses - almost four times more than a 25-cent player.
