Controlled Shooting Takes Practice

Hi Frank,

I am making progress on shooting. I have got the roll problem down to about 45% of the time, from over 60%. My SRR [seven to rolls ratio where 1:6.0 equals a random game] varies from 6.3 to as high as 13.

Some interesting observations:

  • I am beginning to see repeating numbers, nice.
  • I seem to "cluster" my 7's so they don't hurt as bad when I am shooting.
  • Most promising to me is I see runs of 4~5 throws where 1 die will repeat, now if I can get both die to repeat I am in fat city.
  • I am using pointer and 3rd finger on outside faces of dice and thumb-middle finger ft/rear. My hands are too bad to use three finger front (the dice always split).

I will keep working because work sure pays off.
