Can I Lay the 4 and Bet the Hardways at the Same Time?

Dear Frank:

If I buy the 4 in craps, does that include the soft 4 and, if so, can I lay the 4 and bet $15 on a hard 4 and buy the 4? All three bets is what I'm saying and all of them at the same time?

Hi Casey:

When you buy the 4, you are buying all the possible 4s (2:2, 3:1, and 1:3). Yes, you can also lay the 4 and bet the hardways at the same time. All three bets can be made together. In my new book Casino Craps: Shoot to Win! I go over all of these bets in detail.
