Dear Frank:
I was wondering if you would know which casinos are the most generous in giving comps. My wife and I love to play blackjack and Pai Gow poker. We are $10 players and have found at many casinos we don't get anything.
Although we don't play for comps, it would be nice to occasionally get a free meal. Are $10 players not wanted in casinos anymore? I know the bad economy, the loss of profits and the bean counters have made comping much stricter.
Any tips?

Dear James:
The best way to find out about comps is to ask a host at the casino where you play. He will let you know exactly what you're play is worth and what you will get for that. Or just call a marketing executive and ask. Most are willing to explain their comping procedures.
I don't know which casinos offer the best comps because I only play at a select few throughout the country. More important than comps is how you play the games. If you use the correct strategies you can cut the house edge to a minimum.
All the best in and out of the casinos,
Frank
