Annoying People at the Craps Table

16 October 2010

By Frank Scoblete

Dear Frank,

I just read your article in the July 2010 issue of Southern Gaming and Destinations. You are right on target, but you left out one of the most annoying types of people in the casino!

I call them the "rail birds" or "tourists." They come by the craps table and find an empty position and park, never putting a dime in the game, and ask all kinds of questions and offer advise. "I knew that was coming, you should have played that." The dealers never ask them to step back.

I play at a high level and I am always afraid of people stealing from me. I have caught two in the last year. Keep writing.

Thanks,
John
