A New Layout for Single Zero Roulette Wheels
23 June 2005
By Frank Scoblete
Dear Frank,
Two days ago, I visited the new Sands casino in Macau, China. To my
surprise, I found the Single Zero Roulette Wheel has a new format. I thought
I would bring this to your attention.
Being the author of the Roulette Recorder booklets, I was totally shocked
to discover this. I think all people who are involved in the game of
Roulette should know. It cost me to discover this, applying my standard
strategy and knowing the "traditional sequence" of the Single Zero wheel.
The format of the wheel is identical to the Double Zero wheel, except the
Double zero was removed and replaced with the Single zero.
The numbering sequence is:
0-27-10-25-29-12-8-19-31-18-6-21-33-16-4-23-35-14-2-28-9-26-30-11-7-20-32-17
-5-22-34-15-3-24-36-13-1
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there supposed to be International
standards on the format of the roulette wheel? I know this new format will
create new betting strategies and publications.
Leon
Dear Leon:
There are no international standards for roulette wheels, just customs and
practices that the casinos can change.
All the best in and out of the casinos!
